SPIRITUAL FITNESS (HEALTHY) Welcome to Divine-Royalty fearless motivation. I discovered that Since I started writing on fitness people are getting more interest on that, especially since I wrote about “family sweets through fitness” many has ask many questions and we share ideas. Yes i can see that people are willing to endure a lot to keep their bodies in shape. They will execute, with meticulous precision, diets, weight-lifting and aerobic routines, cycling feats, chin-ups, sit-ups, push-ups and many others, especially, abstaining from late night food. It takes discipline to complete these routines, and discipline or a healthy relationship with God requires effort, it’s never easy. Paul writes, “Train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come” (1 Timothy 4:7-8). If our goal is to maintain general spiritual health, we can stretch our prayer muscles casually, like a walk in the park. But if we want to grow strong—and then stronger we need a rigorous workout every day. To “run with perseverance the race marked out for us” (Hebrews 12:1), we need to be in top shape. Spiritual fitness (healthy) as it’s termed, takes discipline as well. Exercised faith regularly grows strong and vibrant, while ignored faith becomes weak and flabby. I red about “Samuel Ajayi Crowther” the first Aglican Bishop in Nigeria. “Martin Luther king Jr” A pastor who die for social injustices. “William Booth” the founder of the Salvation Army; “Mother Theresa”, the missionary to India’s poor; “Billy Graham” noted as the greatest evangelist of the 20th century; And many others who shape their fit spiritually and in Christianity. I am sure all of these are listed among God’s spiritually disciplined heroes. They are heroes because they knew their faith, and spirituality ultimately made them uniquely human and of substantial value to the rest of the world. Spiritual fitness begins with discipline and commitment just like physical fitness. No one ever began a race, walked a walk, or completed a journey without discipline. When I was a boy, I would run with my friends on the playground at school. During the time of physical Education called “PE”, Under the direction of our game master, to set us off with the standard: “On your mark, get set, go!” However, some never ran. They never committed themselves to the venture and instead only watched. Running a race, walking the walk, completing your spiritual journey is not a spectator event. It takes discipline. Many of us have likely completed getting our physical bodies in shape which is good anyway, but what about our Spirits? Are you ready to make a spiritual resolution? I have noticed that many of us, we are spiritually consuming junk. When we put junk into our spirits, it is only natural that we will produce junk. What we must consume in our spiritual diet are motivational books and speech. appropriate music, edifying television, fun and decent video games, genuine relationships, worship services/mass/gatherings and anything else that helps us to understand ourselves and our spiritual nature better. Tips to ponder 1) Stretch; Without stretching and enriching your soul through spiritual learning, you can overextend or hurt yourself or others. Remember that you are only able to receive from others that which you have given. be sure to stretch your mind and heart in new ways to incorporate the changes that have occurred not only in your life, but in the lives of your loved ones. Be willing to give yourself and not take others for granted so that your relationships will be enriched and not suffer instead. 2) Bending down to lift others up in your life, whether it is a co-worker, your spouse, children, or a friend or whoever, can be the greatest reward if your spiritual nature is as developed as it should be. 3) Cultivate spiritual team building activities. As “iron sharpens iron,” we, too, help equip each other spiritually for the fight. Aiding in team and family growth takes being a good team player. 4) Warm up your faith muscles. To be on fire for God requires stoking our spirit with the fuel of daily prayer, intense knowledge of Scripture and generous giving. Ask God to wrap you “in zeal as in a cloak” (Isaiah 59:17) and to give you love that “burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame” (Song of Solomon 8:6). 5) Turn setbacks into renewed determination. Peter denied the Lord three times, and yet Christ commanded him three times to tend his flock (John 21:15-17). Saul persecuted Christians, and Christ chose him as witness to the Gentiles. The cross is proof that Christ can transform even the worst things into good. Our job is to pick ourselves up after we fail and to ask for renewed vigor to follow Christ. “For though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again” (Proverbs 24:16). With Christ beside us, there is no such thing as failure. Determination is key to success. Kindly determine and take that event to the next level Form Motivational Speaker Divine-Royalty.
